I'm Thankful for.....

Today was a beautiful day! Sun was shining, breeze blowing, windows open, fresh air, children outside, being together with my little family, and the fact I didn't have a lot of pain to worry about. I pulled one of those silly stunts yesterday while watching my girls at the Children's museum. I went over to a bench to sit down, and completely missed it. I landed hard on the floor and jarred my back. Because I have been using this great nutrition, by body handled it pretty well. I was very sore last evening and even this morning. Add a chiropractor visit to that and by tonight I'm not very sore. For that I'm extremely grateful!!!

God has been good to us. I'm also thankful for the time I was able to get away by myself and spend time with my Heavenly Father today. What a blessing!

A Little History

I guess my journey really began back in 1998 when I was involved in a car accident that resulted in a broken neck, fractured pelvic bone, and my spine and pelvis pulled apart. God had His hand upon me that day and allowed me more time on this earth. I spent 10 days in the hospital and an additional 3 months at home in a wheelchair and neck brace. After that, I went through physical therapy. God spared me from paralysis that day. However, due to this accident and the injuries, I lived with chronic pain and always felt as though my energy level could be better. I felt like I was a healthy person, but just lacked energy. I always felt like there was something out there that would help build my body up and allow me to have that energy I was looking for. I didn't, however, know exactly where to look. I took my daily vitamins, saw a Chiropractor on a regular basis, and even went to a Massage therapist.

Seven years later, God sent a friend my way to share what he had found that had changed his life. I discovered that day, that good nutrition is the key.

I am so thankful that God spared my life! I am extremely grateful that He spared me from paralysis. He allowed me to marry the man of my dreams and has given us three beautiful daughters. He allowed me to fulfill my dream of becoming a nurse and then allowed me to attain another dream--becoming a stay-at-home mom. God has been so good to me! I am truly blessed!!

A New Venture

I have decided to try blogging to share our story with others. We feel blessed to have found a way to live healthy and know that others are looking for answers also. Soon I will do a post to share how our journey began. I hope to update several times a week on how we are doing, how we have blessed others, and/or share a healthy tip. We'll see how it goes.

God bless you!
